Refund & Cancellation Policy

BVM AI sells digital subscriptions (Pro and Ultra) for educational AI services. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to cancel. It is issued in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

1. Nature of the service

Paid plans give you immediate access to digital AI features (chat, PDF Analyzer, Exam Mode, Flashcards). Because the service is delivered instantly and consumed on use, paid subscriptions are generally non-refundable once activated.

2. When we DO refund

• You were charged but your plan was not activated due to a verified system error on our side.
• You were charged twice for the same plan within 7 days (duplicate transaction).
• You paid for a plan that we are unable to deliver due to permanent service shutdown.

3. When we DO NOT refund

• You changed your mind after activation.
• You did not use the features during your billing period.
• Your AI answer was incorrect — BVM AI is an educational assistant; we make no guarantee of accuracy. Always verify important answers.
• Your account was suspended for violating our Terms of Service (payment fraud, fraudulent chargebacks, abuse).

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Because every billing period is a one-time prepaid charge through Razorpay, there is nothing to auto-charge in future.

5. How to request a refund

Email tikrushna.dev@gmail.com within 7 days of payment with: (a) your account email, (b) the Razorpay payment ID, (c) the date and amount, and (d) a short description of the issue. Approved refunds are processed by Razorpay back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days (bank settlement times may add a few days).

6. Grievance Officer

For billing or refund complaints, contact our Grievance Officer at tikrushna.dev@gmail.com. Acknowledged within 48 hours, resolved within 30 days as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

7. Business details

BVM AI is operated as a sole proprietorship from Gadchiroli, Maharashtra 442605, India. All payments are collected and refunded through Razorpay Software Private Limited. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
